Medical Information
Nanobacter sanguinium and Atherosclerosis A recent development in understanding the causation of atherosclerosis lies in the area of microbiology. The presence of genetic material from the bacterium Nanobacter sanquinium has been found in a disproportionate number of people atherosclerosis (as well as arthritis). This has led to the opinion among basic researchers that Nanobacter sanquinium plays a significant role in many cases of plaque formation, thus in strokes and heart attacks. Nanobacter sanquinium has the ability to colonize the intima of blood vessels (and apparently joints as well) and build a calcium matrix around itself. It is then protected from the immune system as well as any antibiotics which might be administered. The solution which has been devised is EDTA in combination with Tetracycline. EDTA decalcifies the Nanobacter sanquinium and Tetracycline kills it. This risk factor is not yet commonly tested for and if the past performance
of standardized medicine is any indication (consider the role of Heliobactor
pylori in the causation of peptic ulcers), it will be about 2012 before it becomes
routine. If you want to be tested now, in all but the best doctors' offices,
you will have to ask for it and bring in the research to back up your request.
Medical Information
Atherosclerosis There are two common forms of vascular disease, atherosclerosis and arteriosclerosis. We will first consider atherosclerosis. This is plaque formation on the inside or the arterial system. It has an entirely different causation than arteriosclerosis which is diffuse hardening of the arteries. There are several known, and easily avoided, risk factors at work in the creation
of atherosclerosis. While inflammation and subsequent damage of the intima are
the causes of plaque formation, there are several factors which will then accelerate
the process. Foremost are the so-called "trans-fats" found in junk
foods. Next is oxidized cholesterol (from cooked, i.e., pasteurized, milk and
other animal foods cooked in open air). Then the relative absence of antioxidants,
such as vitamins A, C and E, and high levels of homocysteine (a condition easily
prevented with vitamins B6, B 12 and folate) are important contributing factors.
Tobacco smoke drains the body's resources of antioxidants, particularly vitamin
C, and further accelerates atherosclerosis. If you know and apply these facts
from an early age, there is no reason for atherosclerosis to ever develop in
your body. To know and apply these facts, you have to be willing to think for
yourself and ah, there is the reason atherosclerosis will continue to kill people.
Maybe the good do die young but so do the uninformed and dogmatic.
Medical Tips & Questions
Being grounded in knowledge relating to fasting is useless unless you apply that knowledge and actually fast. Fasting combined with colon cleansing is the fastest route to enlightenment I know of. I do it for spiritual and for health reasons which, if you think about it, are not entirely separate. I find myself much more productive when I am clear in mind and body. If you are going to juice fast, the first thing you need is a juicer. I recommend either the Acme juicer or the Champion juicer. I have both and each does a fabulous job. The Acme juicer is better for citrus fruits (the juice of which you should not drink if you have arthritis), and the Champion juicer is best for making juice from "solid" plants such as carrots, apples, celery, etc. You can find these juicers at most large department stores. They also can be purchased through health food stores. Call around and find out locations and prices of these products. Expect to spend about $200-250 for a good juicer. This may seem like a lot of money, but it will pay for itself in thousands of dollars in saved medical bills over the years.
